To add product attributes simply log in to admin then go to catalog>>>product attributes

1. First you have to add product attribute name

2. Now add the product option value

3. now add the product option and its value to the product fist select the product from the list

4. now select the product option from the drop down list which you want to add to the product

5. now select the option value from the drop down list

6. if you want to add any additional price to the attribute enter that and then click insert button

7. if you want to clone attributes of one product to another simply select the product from which attributes are going to be copied and select another product from the drop down list to which to want to clone the attributes
